The Iota Rho chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Montclair State University was founded on November 18, 1973. Through hosting professional workshops and philanthropic events, the chapter consistently contributes to the students of Montclair State University and to the Montclair community.

On a national scale, the Iota Rho chapter has won Class V organization at Montclair State University in 2011 and has been ranked as the number one business fraternity on the Montclair State campus for the past several years. Each year the Iota Rho chapter continues to uphold its name by developing brotherhood, maintaining high ethical standards, improving our community, and perpetually learning new business skills.
